It was $525. The price you actually pay on the day will depend on the Exchange Rate at the time, who you bought your Ultimate from and if the Cast Member knows how to do the conversion.

Just tried again to upgrade over the phone and have been told that it is not possible, we can only do it at WDW.
Happy to be proved wrong!

So I guess it's a bit of a risk not getting park tickets in advance in the UK for a second trip just in case the upgrade offered on the first trip at Disney isn't too good, a dilemma!

Not sure if anyone has managed to get a different answer but I've been told that you can only upgrade in person, we will now have the last week of our holiday that I can't use the 60 day FP window on as our 21 day Ultimates won't be any good

If you upgrade to an annual pass on the first day does it wipe out any FP already reserved on the original ticket? That would not be good!

They will usually transfer 7 days as that's all an AP holder can have. You need to ask them to transfer the other 7 days - which they have for us in the past.

If you are onsite then "normal" rules apply so any FP booked for your stay should still be valid.

Worth the risk?
Hi, given the huge differences in quoted prices im still not sure if its better value to bridge upgrade on day 1 or just buy the AP outright?
To complicate things further I qualify for resident prices so will there be an issue upgrading a 21 day Ultimate ticket bought here to a resident rate Premium AP? I need to decide in the next two weeks as that's when my 30 FP window opens... Thoughts? |
