Here now - recommendations on Gulf Coast

We’re here now our plans were Naples then Miami but news has stated Miami is 60% out if fuel. We don’t want to risk going there and not being able to return to Orlando for flight home.
It looks like the Gukf coast will be ok. Any recommendations not too far ( not Clearwater been there).

Sarasota, Anna Maria Island and Bradenton. Follow the coast road down to Venice - all lovely beaches or take the I-75 or 41 for faster route.. Lots to do and see in Sarasota, my favourite place. Take the Sunshine Skyway on 275 from St Petes - a few dollars and a great view. Mall shopping at Ellenton off the i-75. At Sarasota there is the Ringling Museum, Mote Marine Aquarium, St Armands Circle and a lovely marina to walk around at the Bayfront plus Marie Selby Botantical gardens. Enjoy!

The Sarasota area would be my choice. Beautiful area and we go back every year.
You have easy access to all the above. My favourite is AMI, but Siesta and Venice are also beautiful.
