Do you get “free” onboard spending money ? I know P&O give an allowance which can be spent on drinks, upgraded restaurants etc on board.

Sounds fab. Just to be aware the cruise Terminal is quite a distance from central Rome. Its cheap on the train and under an hour, but a taxi will set you back quite a lot. I think we paid €120 each way a few years back.

Yes - thanks.

We we did an excursion to Rome last year from the cruise terminal - its the only trip we did that was organised - I was really worried about not getting back!

I have been looking at the OMIO website and return bus is £20 and return train is £9.

IT'll be an adventure! At least we can start out early from Rome and there is no rush to get back due to our fight being soo late
