Talk to me about RCI!

Well I think I've booked a little bargain (had to be as we've already got 3 other trips booked )

It was advertised on the Cruise Nation web site

4 Nights in Rome and 6 nights on the Explorer of the Seas.

So I know nothing about RCI and I only sent DH the details this morning as he is in Rome on his way to Tokyo for the rugby (he says its work )

We didn't manage to get a drinks package but we're not big drinkers anyway.

Has anyone been on the ship? What to expect from RCI.

We've done P&O, Princess and Celebrity previously.

Thanks x x

When the cat’s away, the mice book cruises!😂😂 Sorry, can’t help, it’s years since we sailed RCI.

I was on RCI Navigator of the Seas this summer.

It was very enjoyable. I’d definitely go on another.

Keep logging in to your account as the drinks packages can suddenly go cheap. I paid $40 a day I think and it was worth it for that, particularly on a short cruise.

Don’t bother with the Key, waste of money.

LOL!

In my defence I did send him the Facebook page screen shot at 8am - not my fault he was busy entertaining the customers at breakfast and strolling around Rome until lunchtime

Im just calling it lonely money

We have done six cruises, five with RCI and loved them. We’ve only been on Freedom of the Seas and Harmony along with one other which was sold off to Marella.

We like bigger ships but the small one which I can’t remember the name of was lovely too.

We have always been happy with RCI and the one cruise we did with a different line was like a sailing butlins .

If you like a drink then the package is worthwhile. We got it for £34 a day for our cruise on Harmony this year but I booked, cancelled and rebooked about five times to get the cheaper price .

Thanks for the advice.
I'm not sure we'd drink that much a day (we do like a nice glass of red but we just drink less if we have to pay oop).

Haven’t been on that ship but we did our first ever cruise this year, med cruise on Oasis, it was amazing. We didn’t bother with a drinks package, but it is handy to know you are allowed to take 2 bottles of wine onboard per stateroom, I assume it’s the same on all RCI ships.
