Hyde park winter wonderland
We are going here on the 30tn November and are after tips from people that have been before. I've read that it can get quite muddy and realise it's going to be crowded, but we are in London that weekend, so decided to pay a visit to the Winter wonderland. Thanks in advance.

We went a few years ago and I don't remember it being muddy at all. It was pretty busy but not uncomfortable, a good atmosphere though, you'll enjoy it

We haven't been for a few years as we found it to be very expensive but definitely worth a wander around. We hopped on the top floor of a bus going down Oxford Street afterwards for a very inexpensive way of seeing the lights and then hopped off that to walk down Regent Street to Hamleys which is always good fun at Christmas if you are visiting with kids (big or small!)

There are walkways so not muddy but it’s very expensive as said . Nice to walk through though.

I've never known it to be muddy - they put down walkways so this keeps the mud at bay.
It is VERY expensive, some of the rides can cost in excess of £10 per person. We normally just go in for a wander and to soak up the atmosphere as that's free |

It's a good idea to prebook if there are things you really want to do, like the ice sculptures.

I'd definitely get there early, even in twilight the atmosphere is great, hardly any time in the queue and there are literally a third of the amount of people who flood in there after dark.

It’s good fun but very expensive, My dd used to go with the school and spend £50 in a couple of hours. They only went on a few rides last year and we left and went for a meal because I didn’t want to spend ridiculous amounts on rides.

As others have said it's VERY expensive so don't go hungry or thirsty!
I can definitely recommend John Lewis roof top Xmas garden! We love it up there x |
