Discovery cove cabanas
Hi, after some advice, still undecided if to do discovery cove this year, if we do itl be the non swim but I worry when we get there if ds17 and dd11 would have liked to do a dolphin swim.
I'm just looking at the cost really as want to do bg and aquatica which we haven't done on our previous 3 trips, also want to fit in a day at my and epcot, our favourite parks. Was looking at a trip report and saw the cabanas, does anyone know how much they are and are they worth the extra cost? Thanks

Check the DC website prices are on their you can do a package or just hire a cabana we hired a cabana last year and loved it you get your own fridge, and locker, and it gave us a base. We will be hiring one again this year

I think they're $179 for the cabana, unless you're having a Celebration Package which costs $129 - you can then add a cabana onto it for an additional $100, which makes it good value. There's more information on the package here.

You could do dolphin swim for the kids and non swim for everyone else.
The cabanas are very good, offer a great base and a fully stocked fridge of beer oand soft drinks is useful ( plus is continually stocked up)... but if the choice is between the kids doing the swim or a cabana then let the kids do the swim |

while a cabana is a lovely extra its def not essential and tbh for the money you'd be better off upgrading to swim packages even if just for the kids.

if you book a cabana as part of a package then you can book upto approx 6mths in advance fi you want cabana only then they usually only offer them around 3wks before to fill any empty ones as they hope to use them for packages as it makes them more money
