Xbox series S - Couple of questions
Firstly a simple one - Every picture I’ve seen it’s stood on its end, can it be laid flat?
Secondly, as a very casual gamer is it worth it, or should I buy the X series. Will I really notice that much of a difference, bearing in it’ll be used on a tv that 5/6 years old. The price at John Lewis is currently about £150 different |

Your essentially paying £150 more for the disc drive which the S doesn’t have and has an 1TB hard rice apposed to 512GB on the S.
You’re looking about £90 more to upgrade the storage on the S with another 512GB so I would probably get the X to future proof yourself. There’s a new X coming next year but I believe it’s only the shape that’s different |

We have several series x and one series s (a lot of gamers in my house 🙈. The s can stand up on its side, so can the x. The x has bigger storage. We are quite often having to delete games and re-install with the s so I would go with the x

this may help -
tomsguide/face-off/x...-xbox-series-s or techradar/news/xbox-...-right-for-you Also the S has no disc drive so all games must be downloaded, the X does have a disc drive so you can buy games on disc then sell on when you've done with them where as the downloaded games you can't sell on. (think the above is correct as i don't own either console) Edited at 02:36 PM. |
