Parking at Universal to pick up disability passes only

We are travelling to Orlando on 11th July and have 14 day tickets for Universal Studios.

My son receives the highest level disability allowance and when we went to Orlando previously we found that the queue to obtain the disability passes was fairly lengthy and consequently the wait to enter was exacerbated.

As we have 14 day passes I understand Universal will issue us with passes for the duration of our tickets so I was thinking it would be a good idea to pick up the passes the day before our visit so we aren't delayed.

Does anyone know if we would still need to pay the $20 to park to do this? It might be worthwhile anyway but thought I'd ask in case anyone knows.

Yes you would have to pay to park unless you had a preferred pass BUT more importantly Universal don't issue them for the full duration of your stay anymore, you have to go to guest services each time you enter the park! Grrrrrrr!

Oh no - on the Autism site it says for the length of your stay and only the Express Disability pass is issued daily!

Well for our last two visits they categorically wouldn't issue them for the duration of our 14 day ticket like in previous years, despite the added stress of queuing each time we visited the parks to get them. My DD has Downs & autism, medical & mobility problems, a wheelchair user & it was a no. Basically I can't go on what any site says, I have to go on our personal experience with Universal the last two times

We went in April this year and we were given one for 14 days. We didn't need a new one every day.

We have been in contact with them only 10 days ago by phone & email and they are still saying that we have to collect daily We do get given an Express pass but then we did on all our previous visits

Yes its very odd and very inconvenient if thats the case. Its supposed to help not having to queue!

We queued 45mins one day last year in guest services due to a group of South Americans requesting various amount of these passes for people in their group!

I might email them as well as we are going back next year and not doing Disney so will be at the park alot.
