Mobile Idiots guide to MCO?

Ok here's the question, I'm after some advice for picking someone up from MCO. We're going for 3 weeks March/April, however my brother joining us for a week and I'm picking him up from airport. At the time we'll be staying in Clearwater, but his flight doesn't land till 1 in the morning so obviously it's gonna be a late night. But my question is what's the best way to pick him up, is it park the car? Wait outside in the car? Where to wait for him? Unbelievably I've not done Orlando airport for 20 years do have no memories of it, we always seem to use other airports. He's flying in on an internal flight, Delta from Atlanta, so any advice for a bleary eyed me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Here's a very useful guide to MCO with all the parking options.

All four monorails arrive in the corners of the central concourse. You can find out easily which gate your brother is arriving at and meet him just outside where the monorail arrives or at plenty of other "landmarks" inside the concourse.

Just park in the multi-storey car park and me him in the main concourse of the airport. The charge for the parking should only be a couple of dollars.

I'm with Ninnybobs. Don't get bogged down with the detail for a couple of dollars.

Multi story is easy and cheap unlike Manchester Grrrr. I used it last year picking up DH I got a coffee and waited near the fountains in the center of the airport as thats where you end up after the monorail.

Cool ok thank you all for replies. My only paranoia with the parking garage it's have a 12 seater passenger van and head clearance, but that should be fine. Would imagine that time of night won't be too busy anyway.

I'm 99% sure that you can drive straight out and use the SunPass to pay the fee and it just goes on your bill.
However I pay cash at the exit barrier. Cheap as chips.
For a family I would park up as there are cases and people to sort out.
For a solo traveller I would do the cell phone parking option as it's quick to just swoop around and get 1 person.
