Best Breakfast Buffet on IDrive?

So me and the Fam are visiting Orlando in May 2020. This is the first time back with the family since 2012 (i've been myself since then).

We used to go to the Ponderosa as a tradition for a buffet brekkie but now its closed! (much cries...dont judge aha)

So I put it to you my fellow dibbers - Where would you recommend on IDrive as a replacement to the Ponderosa Breakfast Buffet?

Thank in advance

Golden Corral is very similar and we've been several times and found it a good choice for a cheap and filling breakfast

I'd second Golden Corral - we go to the one near the big MaccyD's / $1.99 store / Checkers opposite the big Walgreens - not sure if there is another on idrive - know theres a few dotted around

We tried Golden Corral one year we were in Orlando and it wasn't great. The food was just ok and the service wasn't as good as it is in restaurants where you tip. I don't think Golden Corral staff get tips hence the service difference. (They didn't at the time we went anyway.) We love IHOP or Dennys. Great food, big portions, and cheap enough prices.

Would swerve the Buffet idea and instead go to Dennys, iHOP or Perkins along I drive. All good breakfasts and decent prices.

We went to the Golden Corral that is mentioned above back in 2017. And it was a rather unnerving experience. There were 2 homeless people in there, who were keeping an eye on peoples tables and then basically stealing the tips people had left on the table for the servers.
Also the food was not great at all, and it cost us just as much to go there as it would have done to go to Ihop/Dennys/Mcdonalds, all of which were right next to Golden Corral.

We have never had a bad experience at golden coral so surprised to hear that others have :/

I really like ihop and dennys also - I would caution about using the ihop at the bottom of i drive (near where wet n wild used to be) I had the worst service in there the server was awful. I had to ask for a manager and I explained i wouldnt be tipping or paying for my food as 1. the server brought me full sugar coke i asked for diet im diabetic, when I asked her to switch it she just emptied half the regular coke out and topped it up with diet which we saw her do so I asked her to bring me a completely new drink, she then disappeared for 20 mins, everyone elses food came to the table mine didnt, then she brought me the wrong meal, by the time she had brought the right meal everyone else had finished, except my mum who was still waiting on the soup part of her soup and sandwich, she then complained loudly to another waitress about the annoying british table.

To be fair the manager accepted my complaint but by time it was all sorted i just wanted to leave and ended up leaving half my meal as everyone else were tired.
