ESTA site down?

Can't seem to get on the ESTA application site this morning, just gives me a blank page. Is this the same for everyone else?

Didn't work in Chrome for me, blank page like you say.

However, does work in chrome in incognito window or Firefox.

it's been playing up since yesterday

it will eventually come back (one of the main reason why ESTAs should be made well in advance if possible)

I can get onto the official ESTA website by going through Google. But if I click the link above on the DIBB, I just get a blank page.

Why people would leave it last minute to arrange an ESTA is beyond me, the people commenting on the Daily Mail are saying “They have had to cancel their flights tomorrow due to the issue” 🙄🙄

If your using Chrome as your browser, right click on the Dibb esta link (thats the link on the dibbs esta page not the link here) and select 'open link in incognito window'

Works the same in firefox -
Just right click and open a new private window when you go to the official link

yes it's not browser related. You get a blank page when clicking on the dibb link but if you stop the referring URL being passed to the esta website it works fine. You can do this by using a new incognito/private browser window or just copying the full address into your browser address bar.

To be fair this has also affected people who have applied well in advance and had confirmation that their ESTA was approved as well.

There was a Dibber that posted that he was almost turned away from a flight, but with the help of a manager at check in calling DHS was able to board his flight.

There were also reports that even though people had printed a copy of the ESTA when confirmed the airlines weren't accepting as evidence that it had been approved and were turning people away.

I do agree it is silly to apply with only a day or two until flying though - unless due to an emergency. Although if the DHS recommend at least 72 hours anyone applying at that point or earlier should have a right to be angry.
