Mobile WDTC package cancellation August

Has anyone had any dealings with WDTC for a flight inclusive package? I’ve booked for 23rd August but not happy to pay a large balance not knowing what holiday I’ll be getting plus don’t want to travel in the current climate even if flights are running. I’m due to pay balance mid May but want to cancel this year’s holiday or if free dining is offered for 2021 then would like to rebook. Looking at the T&C’s, says could be liable for up to 100% of the flight element. Just wondered what people’s experiences have been for flight packages booked through WDTC?

I had a flight package for May which I’d paid in full for which has all been refunded including the price of flights, however this is because we were unable to go, I’m not sure where you will stand if you don’t want to go but are still able to?

That's my worry! I have a feeling flights might be up and running by then but I'm not too sure I want to go now!

I will be in the same position in July as we have rebooked for October and will be due to pay balance, tbh if it’s still really uncertain I may just lose the deposit, I would think they may move it to next year for you but ideally you need free dining released before your balance is due!

Hi Yes I had a package booked with Disney for July. If your flight hasn’t been ticketed yet by your airline then you can cancel or amend your booking but you will lose your flight deposit as Disney are only waiving amendment fees up until the 30th June at the moment

Thanks for your reply, do you mind me asking how far in advance did you amend your booking? I was waiting as long as possible until my balance due date which is 15th May, as I was hoping free dining would be announced for 2021. My flight booked through WDTC is a virgin flight by the way!
