Mobile Have any TAs let them cancel and get monies back?

I am booked with Kenwood for September but want to cancel in light of free dining being taken away.

Disney Direct have offered guest a full refund of any monies paid , has anyone had the same with a TA?

I’m going to call Kenwood tomorrow and see what my options are but wondered if anyone has had any luck so far?

Ps I’ve only paid my deposit so far. We don’t want to accept a voucher as I’m pregnant due in December, so probably won’t be travelling next year so won’t use it

You would hope that all TAs would follow the lead of what Disney is offering. Good luck! I think AT are offering same?

Ps. Congratulations 🥳 xx.
I’m pregnant too (lockdown baby due in jan!) we had booked for November direct with Disney but we decided to cancel as can’t go next year.

Thank you! Such a strange to be pregnant.

I will try my luck with Kenwood on Monday, I have seen that AT have been very good and followed Disney.

We're booked with Kenwood and asking the same question by email. I'll update tomorrow, which is when they want our final decision by.

We are booked with Kenwood for the end of September and contacted them last week, they said they were waiting for an official announcement from Disney and would then let us know our options. Think we will email again tomorrow too...will post any updates.

Ok great well goodluckn to you both - I’m doing the same! Thinking it would be pretty shabby if they didn’t offer to let us cancel and get a refund if their competitors are!

That’s crazy because there is another thread about charter travel and that person got a full refund! It Shouldn’t differ Because of the person you speak to

Good luck to you. And congratulations
We managed to get a refund of deposit from Ocean Florida (well it’s promised in writing!) I don’t think we would have until loss of free dining plan - surely with any package the right thing for any travel company to do is allow cancellation/ refund ... it’s a huge change to the holiday you originally booked!
