Got my phonecall from our TA, Ever After Holidays today.
We had flights and a week at POFQ booked with them plus tickets etc. We had the option of 35% off, move to another date or cancel for a full refund. We decided to cancel and they have said we should have the refund through in a couple of weeks once Disney have processed the refund at their end. |

I would tell them their competitors are offering full refunds or deposits held as credits for future bookings. I think loosing your full deposit when Disney are allowing free cancellations and other TA are offering good customer service at this time is pretty awful.
Obviously if you’re happy going in Sept if flights are running and the conditions disney is offering atm then it’s a balanced risk. Fingers crossed for you |

Yep me too! Really think that businesses that look after their customers at a time like this, deserve to do well!

I’m going to call Kenwood tomorrow as I’ve booked flight from Manchester on 747! Going to pay for QSDP - 14 day tickets and staying at POP - I rang last week and they said they could issue a part refund for £350 as we paid £500 deposit - but to call back in a couple of weeks as Disney should update them re the cancellation fee which is £150 - I assume that I would now be offered the full deposit back but think I am being offered a credit note - I’ll let you know how I get on. The balance isn’t due until 4 Jul.

My advice with Kenwood is to be firm. My own personal experience and from what I've seen with some others is they try to issue the least they can but can be pushed to offer more. They tried to make me pay cancellation fees, but when I explained the parks weren't open and I wasn't cancelling they very quickly rolled over. I was issued a full refund and got it about 45 days later. If they try to say they are holding back X% which can be used for another holiday, I wouldn't accept that, personally.

I echo the above. Explained my situation that next years quote with several downgrades was out of my budget and I’m unable to Tavel any other time due to other commitments a voucher is pretty redundant. I then mentioned about others I had heard getting refunds from Kenwood as well as competitors doing the same. The lady I spoke to was helpful and laid out options but they just didn’t suit our needs and a full refund request was submitted and should be with me with 60 days.
I’d go with them again if they price was right - but right now it’s not. |

We were originally booked with them then came along TC collapse so refunded for that and booked with Kenwood in haste!
When we look at returning wouldn’t hesitate at all to use ever after holidays - a great team who seem to be actually keeping people informed amidst all the travel chaos over the past 12 months! |

Update - my deposit has been returned to my credit card today! I’m very pleased - although I did have to push for a refund they were very helpful in the end
