As a regular gamer I have to say Among Us has been the best game I’ve ever played for non swearing/rude chat. I’ve been called a b!tch and told to F off once but otherwise it’s been ok. I play it a lot too! Any game that allows people to chat there is always the risk of someone being an idiot but I’d let my child play it.

Truthfully... I tend to play with my kids! They are 9 and 13, but i sometimes find myself if I have a spare half and hour, playing a couple of games. It's quite addictive!
Swear words can be turned off, of which there can be many! Depends on who they end up playing with. But so many people come and go from the public games that the swearers don't stick around, or are kicked quite quickly by the others.
If there enough of them and their friends playing, a game allows for up to 10, they can make their game private. There is a code they share to all be in the same game.

Truthfully I have come across one prowler asking if I was a boy or girl and looking for my social media to private message me, but all I did was say no, and he blocked me. In those instances it's just important that your child knows not to go go giving these things out. I trust my youngest, but she has an ASD and it's just one of those things she wouldn't do anyway, she reports to me when others do.

ds 9 has asd and he loves among us - I wasn't keen at first as they do need to participate in chat which is something I usually ban as they don't always understand the risks of giving out information but chat is minimal they can just report bodies say what they saw and vote so no other info is exchanged. We haven't had any swearing and you can turn the volume down if the others are a bit loud.
He plays a mixture of random games which I supervise and also joins games with his brother & his mates but they tend to vote him off even when its not him just to get rid of him

We actually got the game to check before letting our 11 year old play and we still have the odd game with her as it is fun. Its a bit like Cluedo. The swearing filters are very good, it even bleeps out the word rubbish.
The only issue i have been is people asking strangers to add them on Roblox, in every case I have given my Mum speech and told the person asking never to do this.
