Mobile New curtains

I’ve just ordered new curtains for our living room but I’m now wondering if they are too bold!
We moved house 3 weeks ago and none of the rooms have curtains in them. We aren’t planning on decorating many rooms as the decor and Wallpaper are all in reasonable condition. Some of it isn’t 100% our choice but not awful so we will live with it and probably eventually change it as time goes by.
Anyway the living room is a large room 13’4 x 24’10 with a bay window at the front and door leading to a sunroom at the back. Party due to the decor and our furniture it’s very beige so I though these curtains might brighten it up, what do you think?

This is a photo of the room, from the property brochure so decor is the same but not the furniture.

I can take some photos later in the morning so that you can see our furniture, our settee is a gold colour so everything very much blend to be one colour if that makes sense!

They are lovely and will be perfect as your room is very neutral. I would accessorize with cushions in the colours of the detail on the curtains. Don’t be afraid to team the oranges with the greens. It will look fab.👍🏻

I really like them. You could choose one of the colours, for example the burnt orange, and have cushions, throw & table lamp to match that colour. Then, if you get complacent with that colour you can change the colour of the cushions etc to a different colour in the curtains for a completely new look, for example the lime/mustard colour.

Thank you, that’s really reassured me. Our last siting room was pale with duck egg walls and similar coloured curtains. I’m finding it more difficult this time because we haven’t chosen the whole colour scheme if that makes sense.

Thank you, I’m now feeling a little more confident to go with it. I’m hoping because it’s such a good sized room the curtains will lift it a bit.

I am going to go again at the grain. I don’t think they are too bold necessarily, but that particular Orla Keily style is a bit too prevalent now, I think I would tire of it fairly quickly.

That was my other concern, but I can’t seem to see anything else for a reasonable price that I like. Do I maybe just go for a bold colour, but then again I don’t want a solid block at each end of the room, I’m very confused.

You could always choose something that has texture. That way it won’t look like a block of colour at the end of the room.

That’s a good idea, l will maybe wait for these to arrive and see what they look like. I think I’m finding it difficult because I’m not 100% sold on the wallpaper but don’t want to redecorate such a large room just for the sake of it.
What colour would you pick as a base colour for the curtains?

I think they are lovely but do agree this range is very 'of the moment'.
Have you looked in Next, they usually have a lot. I actually like the curtains the vendors had!
