The Hendo's Dream Florida Holiday... Take Two - Day 3... Keke's, Seaworld & Texas Roadhouse BBQ

Day 3 started with the usual swim in the pool... until the maintanence guys showed up to fix the holes in the screen roof... so that was our signal to get ready and off out for breakfast. Today we had chosen Keke's Breakfast Cafe and it didnt dissapoint... the server suggested the kids (who were chosing off the adult menu) should opt to have 2 pancakes instead of the 3 as they were massive and they reluctantly agreed... and ended up taking half of their breakfasts home in a box anyway! Massive portions but all very nice, would deffo visit again.

We then went off to Seaworld, it was already very busy when we arrived and we headed straight for the Kraken to get in the virtual queue. 175 minutes but we thought we'd get round everything and some shows and make it back but it didnt happen as One Ocean was on just at the time we were due to return to ride... tbh i was worrying about throwing up even though id taken my motion sickness tablets! We visited again on passing but the wait was still very long so we watched the sea lion show, which was closed last time we were here, it was quite funny! Dissapointed the dolphin nursery wasnt open but we were planning on returning in the week so maybe we'd catch it another time.

Mako was great, Manta amazing as usual and hubby got gopro footage of this... great to re-watch! and we managed Atlantis this time which was good fun too. Before leaving, the kids rode Manta again while i fell in love with the sea dragons once more, amazing creatures, and then it was off to the Texas Roadhouse BBQ for dinner.

Well i finally got to try my blooming onion that i missed out on last visit, and it didnt dissapoint, yum! I had to fight everyone else for the last few bits of it bread was beautiful and our steaks were great, but hubby couldnt get his head round the peanuts and shells on the floor thing going on but it deffo made it different and memerable.

After dinner we went to Congo River for a spot of crazy golf, this was so much fun although the kids remembered where all the items you have to spot along the way were, after 3 years! but we had fun even though we were slowly melting. Im sure you could spot the scottish family a mile away
Tomorrow we were due to go to Wild Florida first thing so it was home to bed (after a quick dip... i swear my kids grew gills while we were in Florida!)

Just catching up with your trip report. Texas Roadhouse is my favourite place to eat. Looking forward to hear about Wild Florida as I've never been.
