How far is Championsgate from Disney by car?

Just that.

Apparently they have nice villas there?

Really depends on traffic... on a good day 15 mins, on a bad day 30 !

Champions gate has a junction to the I4 and the world drive junction is the second junction up from there or you can use old lake Wilson road to get up to the 192 and Sherberth road to Animal kingdom.

It depends on which part of Champions Gate you will be staying as it is a large place but does have several options to get to Disney, some of which have already been mentioned above. You can also go via the US27 if you are that side of Champions Gate.

No it's not closer than the 192. Championsgate is getting busier and the last few trips we've found the traffic on the I4 to be very busy a lot of the time but we still like the area. You can use the I4 to Disney or US27 then 192 or cut up north old lake Wilson road to the 192 so a few options.

champions gate shopping centre is just off the i4, but the area kinda stretches over to the US27. we stay just off ronald reagan parkway, but class it as championsgate. its 15-30 mins to disney (about 15 miles away) depending on traffic/time of day/where exactly you are going

If the I 4 is busy you have the option to use the 429 (toll rd ) to western way. Brings you right into Disney.

Bear in mind how the i4 gets. We stayed at champions gate in Feb 18 and it would take us 30-40min each time to get from Disney back to the villa...

I personally wouldn't stay there again for that reason... just my opinion x

No. I have stayed at Windsor Hills, Sunset Lakes, Indian Ridge just off the 192. These are close to Disney resorts - 10/15 minutes. Champions Gate will be 30 minutes+
