HHN ticket refund

My sister has just received a letter from TUI cancelling her October holiday to universal and is obviously heartbroken but she bought HHN tickets separately direct from universal has anyone been able to get a refund from universal for tickets that they can’t use this year or is there a free contact number for universal - I know Disney has one but wasn’t sure about universal

I'm able to return 3 HHN tickets to American Attractions but I have to lose 20% of the value unless they cancel the event so holding on for now.

Universals current stance certainly with a tour operator I had booked with for October is that they are allowing full refunds for those that were due to travel up to 3rd October.

It doesn't look like they have a UK number but they have a "Send A Message" bit on this link if it helps.

Universal are pretty good so there's a chance. They paused my UOAP passes for the rest of the year so that we can (hopefully) use in February.

Not sure if the free number works for uk but on their last email to me, the toll free is 1-877-589-4783 option 4

I managed to get my HHN tickets refunded last year after a Thomas Cook went Bust. I contacted them via Twitter and explained the situation and it was all done no problem!

Hi

Thanks for the advice - she called Universal and they gave her an immediate full refund - they were really sympathetic and understanding and did not question or quibble - brilliant service

I’m in this boat with Floridatix - I’ve no idea what to do about it.
My holiday has been cancelled (due to fly out 3rd October) but I don’t know whether to take the hit of 20% or just hold out

As HHN was cancelled yesterday, you can now request a refund or carry-over the tickets to next year ...
