Last time was when we went out for lunch on the 2nd March. The day we also optimistically booked our fast passes 😂

We’ve eaten out around 5 times since March. The last time was the first week in October before the Welsh fire break lockdown.
We had one 4 night break away to Pembrokeshire in our touring caravan early September and we ate out at pubs twice then, both outside. We also ate once in August outside a pub in the Cotswolds when we went out for a day. We ate indoors at a local hotel, where they had excellent Covid measures in place in September and the last visit in October. It’s our 35th wedding anniversary early January but there’s no chance of us being able to eat out to celebrate here in Wales by then and I wouldn’t feel safe to anyway. |

We’ve eaten out a few times over the last few months. Most recently would have been the 13th of Dec when we went to a Christmas light show.

Crete, November 5th.
Eating the most gorgeous lamb chops, local wine, local olives, raki. A brief break from the madness, relaxing in the sunshine enjoying the company of a people who know how to live life. |

Last restaurant trip was early Dec, but we eat out at our local cafe probably once a week - normally for breakfast on a Saturday.
They have taken the rules very seriously and we want to support the business so that it makes it through this. We rarely see more than a handful of people when we go.

Pubs and restaurants are full and bustling in affluent Alderley Edge and Wilmslow. No virus in these posh areas

Haven't been out for a meal since February. Had lots of takeaway meals from local restaurants and pubs to try to support them though.

I've just spent the last couple of hours trying to find a hotel with a dinner bed and breakfast offer in the norrh west after realising me and DH can actually do this. We want to be all in one place rather than risk traipsing around a city centre. Found out they are all celebrating NYE before closing at 11pm so get the most out of the room too.
We've eaten out at our local Italian a few times. All seemed to comply with Covid secure rules and it's good to support local businesses where we can so they are still around after all this. |
