At 52 I may be finally growing up!

So I’ve just despatched the Xbox to music magpie. I’ve finally decided I’m spending too much time wasting evenings on FIFA.

I’ve made the decision to spend more time on my photography hobby. The money from the Xbox will go towards a new lens and I’ve started an online photography course. It also gets me out in the fresh air so helps with my MH.

Mrs Wazza is still in a state of shock , as she never thought the Xbox would go

I know. It’s been a slow burner. Had a canon EOS 1300D for years and never really moved off auto mode.
Then I upgraded in September to a 2000D and started to get mor adventurous. Learning so much fro the course.

I’ve purchased a tripod and camera bag. Now have my eye on a 50mm lens, then probably a 70-300mm.

I can see me and music magpie doing lots of business in the coming months😂

What course are you doing ? I’m doing an Udemy one. Got a new camera (only the 4000D for me) and tripod at Christmas and so far added zoom lens and wide angled. Looking to get a 14mm next with f2.8 for my Aurora photos - it’s addictive 😄

Just a quick question , why would you ever want to grow up ? I am also 52 and never intend to ... Our youngest daughter once told me and DH ... if you ever grow up I am gonna insist you grow right back down again !

By growing up I mean I’ve found something else to spend hours and money on.
When I say to DW I’m busy Saturday off out on a photo shot it just sounds more grown up!
