That’s three in two days.

I tried forwarding them to the number quoted earlier on in the thread and they wouldn’t deliver.

Just had a very tense ten minutes
after a panicky call from DD at uni. She got this message early this morning and being half asleep entered her details then got suspicious and googled it. I told her to phone the bank and luckily everything was ok and they’ve cancelled her card. Thank god she realised, all of her money is in that account. She said the fake Royal Mail page was extremely convincing.

Lucky escape. Your DD should watch out for a phonecall in next few days supposedly from her bank asking her to move money etc etc...

That was what happened to the actress Emmeline that someone posted above. The Royal mail text is just to get enough of your details to make you think it really is your bank.

Thanks, I’ll warn her.

I also had a text from Hermes today telling me they had been unable to deliver my parcel at exactly the same time as I was in the front garden doing some gardening! Unfortunately I deleted the message in error so guess I won’t be getting a re-delivery!

I see online that one lady had given her bank details, thinking it was legit.

Luckily she didn’t loose any money
