I was the Easter bunny an hour ago. Made a simnel cake last night too. Just need to get back to sleep now!

Usually Easter Sunday. However, there are no bloody eggs anywhere!
Thankfully a couple of friends had random spares so I do now have one for DS! OH went to 3 supermarkets and 2 garages yesterday hunting! The shelves are empty.

I got an extra load of treats from our local tesco express yesterday morning! They had a good selection.
The Easter Bunny brings all the eggs, even when you're teenagers 😉 ... so they will have their egg hunt later. All clues cryptically written and hidden in random places... although I'm running very short of ideas now as we've been doing it for years! I've got some plants for the garden, and MrH has got some savoury treats as he's diabetic. We will have a little present swap after the egg hunt. Happy Easter everyone 💞 |

I did a 14 mile run yesterday so tucked into one last night but James stayed at my mum's so at least I didn't get caught red handed 🙈

Sunday for us. I have just crept into the kids rooms while they were asleep and left them on their desks.

Easter Sunday. Usually do an Easter egg hunt around the house but we’ve cut back on the eggs this year as they just didn’t get eaten so just a couple of larger eggs.

Easter Sunday , my youngest at 18 asked for his at 7 this morning as he ha work at 8 and wanted a chocolate breakfast 😱 I have been a bit mean this year as normally buy them a selection of eggs each but can’t stand the packaging being around the house for weeks on end until they eat them - so got one egg and lots of little chocolate bars, mini eggs and bunnies etc which can be easily hidden from sight 😃

Will be hiding the smaller eggs around the garden in plastic containers for the grandchildren to find. Then when they've left I'll go and find the ones they missed and scoff the lot 😊

Definitely not until Easter Sunday... except for little eggs like creme eggs which may be eaten on the run up to Easter ... at least I know I’ve had a few already! My 19 year old was horrified when I said I was just getting her the one egg this year... I ended up getting some other little ones as she was so shocked!
