Yes, Waitrose has Cecil the Caterpillar cake.
Asda has Clyde the Caterpillar cake.
Co-Op has Charlie the Caterpillar cake.
Tesco has Curly the Caterpillar cake (who is my favourite with his cheeky orange face)
Sainsbury's has Wiggles the Caterpillar cake - which looks very similar to Colin:

He even has the same vacant eyes.

They all do them.

I wonder why they are going after Aldi and not, say, Sainsbury's?

I bought Connie for my daughters birthday and my boys were SO offended. It’s “just wrong” apparently. “Only Colin can be consumed, there is only 1 Colin and everything else is just a BTech Colin, even Connie”. I’ve never seen my grown boys so passionate about a blooming cake! 😂😂

I am seriously tempted to go to marks tomorrow and buy a Colin the caterpillar cake and eat most of it myself in support of Colin. It would be great if other dibbers could do the same to let Colin know that he is the best chocolate caterpillar.

Do love a Colin the Caterpillar but Curly has teeny chewy sweets on top which are just a wonderful addition.

Call me a cynic, I don’t think it particularly matters which copycat Colin they sue. I don’t think it’s even particularly about the result (I mean I’m no legal expert but when copycat(apillar) colins have been around for years if I were the judge I’d be telling M&S to take a long hike off a short cliff!)

It’s made national headlines and got us all talking about it - how much more would a prime time TV ad cost for much less exposure and engagement...

As for my choice of caterpillar, my birthday was less than a week into lockdown 2. I live alone. A special trip to Marks and Spencer was made. I don’t care what Boris says Colin is an essential purchase when one is spending their birthday alone.
