Dinner at 12 ? Well that’s lunch not dinner . And you are about an hour early .
Tea at 5 ?
What time do you finish a days work ? Work technically finishes at 530 but never does so tea is earliest 630 and normally 7

Dinner at work is 12 on the dot because clinic starts at 1. We do have tea pretty quick as soon as we are in . I am a bit military precision with meal times. Not sure why, what I’ve always been used to I suppose. DH and DD’s does often need to be microwaved though.

It's lunch and tea. Dinner is when dining out somewhere a bit posh 😃

We had homemade chicken curry and chips for tea as well, it was delicious - we are in the north east .

I thought chips and gravy was the northern thing? OH’s cousins live in Durham and it’s a joke between him and them. He feigns disgust (I think it’s actually genuine 🤣 ) and they mention it whenever they’re together.
I thought chips and curry sauce was pretty standard in chip shops?
As for the tea thing, I say dinner which OH can barely cope with. If I said tea I think he’d leave 😂
He says supper... my best friend does too. I can’t bring myself to say supper
