September 21... positivity only please

I was so positive until yesterday but I'm starting to worry that we won't be vaccinated in time. I thought having negative tests would be okay but more and more people are saying they think it'll only be the vaccinated able to fly. I hate all this uncertainty...I just want to go to my happy place 🌞✈

TBH there are none! It's all speculation & with no vaccine currently in circulation for under 16's I don't see that being a stipulation. Gov website is pretty vague & it is open to interpretation but as I understand it it's vaccination or negative tests but I haven't heard anything out of the US & really that's the important one IYKWIM

We are still feeling very hopeful! I can’t imagine them saying you had to be vaccinated as certain age groups including mine haven’t even been offered it yet, and other people have been advised not to take it for various medical reasons (pregnancy, history of allergic reactions etc) so surely it will be either vaccine OR negative tests

I’m worried about this too. They’re taking so long to get to the over 40’s up here I’m worried my sister won’t be done in time to have the 2nd dose 2 weeks before we fly. We still have a month but there’s so few first doses being given I’m not optimistic.

I've worked out that me and the wife need to have had our first shot by the 21st June to get our second in time before travel. We're 36 and 32 so a little wait yet but the NHS website is down to 42 and over this morning.

We’re lucky that we both work for the NHS so we’ve been fully vaccinated otherwise I’d be right at the bottom of the queue. It might just be you need to be vaccinated OR do the tests? We don’t know yet anyway so there’s no use worrying over something that’s out of our hands! Hopefully we get some clarity soon but I’m still positive! It looks like more and more stuff is opening in WDW.

I’m 44, was allowed to book my first vaccination yesterday. What I noticed was if I wanted to select somewhere close to me I still had to wait a month for available slot, but I looked down the list and managed to get one for today - but I’m drive 50 mins in each direction to get it done. Happy though and now I also have my second one booked so I know my dates and it’s before my planned holiday in September.
