The Wave refurb.

Always on my list to try but not been yet but always mentioned as a bit of hidden gem. The Wave is having a refurb in July with rumours of an Incredibles theme. Not sure how that fits

It’s a very nice restaurant- not badly priced and good food- or was.

I saw a few bad reviews the other day, so whether the thing we often so see at Disney- have great food and interest builds, only to reduce the quality and up the price, is happening already or this is outlier reviews I’m not sure.

I can’t see an Incredibles restaurant, probably with much higher prices pleasing Wave fans.

I am very disappointed to see latest reviews on Geyser Point- what was apparently an amazing Buffalo Burger has been changed with cheaper tasting meat etc and has gone downhill. I was hoping to have that in summer- won’t bother now.

We adored The Wave and used to eat there at least twice a week. Sometimes three times!

It was very slightly more expensive than other comparable places but the food was much better.

The big rumour 2 years ago was it was changing to a Steak House so it will be interesting to see what happens

I have to say if it becomes a Character type place that is us finished with Disney Restaurants as we find the rest of them vastly over priced, serving mediocre food and even with the TIW discount still dearer than offsite places.

Time will tell. Oh, best bar on property though.

The Wave theming makes the most of having no natural light - there are subtle undersea touches.

It feels to me a quiet, relaxed place aiming more at adults.

I’m not sure Incredibles would fit with that.

I really like the Wave, I wish they wouldn't try and fix what's not broke

Pretty much described us: on our list for every trip, kept meaning to go and repeatedly conspiring to somehow not go...

...until we did go, and iit is indeed very much a hidden gem.

One of our "must dos" as a result - great food and banging cocktails that would attract signature pricing if the place had a view or some other feature that Disney felt could help them justify it.

If they do retheme, I will be personally hunting down Mssrs. Chapek, D'Amaro and Vahle.

(Well I won't really, but I won't be Happy either! (and most definitely will be Grumpy!)

I wonder if David who was at The Yachtsman is still there?

What a shame if they go ahead. We love it there and have spent many happy hours sat at the bar. Tom, another bar we really like (no TIW sadly though) is Blue Zoo at the Dolphin, as an alternative...
