Golf - can you play on your own?
Hi,
as the title suggests, can you play a round on your own in Orlando? i'm keen to get a round or two in out there but my wife doesn't play so i'd be on my own. She'd probably come along for the walk/buggy ride. if you can could you suggest a good course? Thanks |

Yes, absolutely! We're looking forward to playing a few rounds in the next few weeks out there!
Have a look here for a few courses we've played over the years! Tracy xx |

My DH plays golf, I dont but I usually go along and drive the buggy American golf courses seem keen to put golfers out in fours so he usually ends up playing with at least one other player but more often than not there will be another three golfers going out with him. We've met some really interesting and friendly people on the golf course - and also one or two who weren't so great but it's all part of the fun!

Thanks for the replies!
I'm hoping to drag my wife along with me to be my driver for the day, i'm not the best so i was hoping to go round and take lumps out on my own. Do you tend to play early morning or use the twilight specials, when's best weather wise? I usually tee off around 8am before the scottish heat gets up! |

Hello
DH plays all the time out there, the cheapest time to play is late afternoon when you can get twilight rates, the mornings are very often taken up with society matches and members. He has sometimes played on his own but most of the time they will join him up with a group or another single player. I prefer to go shopping when he is playing golf but on one occasion I was talked into going along to keep him company and when he went into the pro shop to pay they thought he was paying for two green fee but when he explained I didn't play and was just along for some fresh air they changed us $30 insurance! I never went with him again I would either sit by the pool and read or go shopping, rather than waste $30 |
