Two hours is enough just don’t hang around. Easy to get round the airport.

On return, yes, easy! You've just got to get off a plane and walk/run to the next gate.

Probably yes, but that's only cause its domestic to international. Still plenty of time though to make the flight.

It is common for AA to change or cancel their doemstic flights on a regular basis. If this happens to you don't panic - check the details they send to you first to see if they are suitable. If they aren't have a look at their schedules and see what would be your preference then phone up and see if they can book you. Bear in mind that if booked through BA as opposed to AA that there are only so many services that BA codeshare with so at times choices can be limited - I find that a polite firm request will usually get what you want.
This isn't intended to worry you just be aware it happens. |

Maybe, maybe not, but not in the sense of changing terminals at, say, LHR or JFK. PHL is all one big building and the “terminals” are really just concourses, connected inside with moving walkways (and a transit, though you’re unlikely to need it, I’ve never bothered).
The international flight will go from A gates, probably A-west. The AA domestic flight could arrive at any of A(east/west), B or C (possibly E, but only if operated by American Eagle). Depending on the gate assignments and how fast you walk, you’re looking at a gate-to-gate walk of between 10 seconds and 10-15 mins (maybe slightly more in the event of a domestic arrival at E gates. It’s very easy. The main food court is between concourses B and C, though there are also outlets in A (at least in normal times). [Edit - the above advice about terminals used by AA relates to pre-Covid operations I haven’t been there since just before Covid hit and don’t know what has or will be changed due to reduced schedules etc. The international gates are unlikely to change, but possible one or more of the other concourses is out of action] Edited at 09:26 AM. |
