Maybe it’s not the colour but what it represents to a lot of people.

Edit: to all those with laughing emojis laugh away and take those long lingering grievances to the political forum to let of some more steam.

Restriction of movement and longer queues? Us Brits do love a queue.

I’ve never minded queuing and don’t feel I’m restricted. Sorry you feel that way.

Maybe shorter queues in UK airports?

It's not a feeling, it's a fact. My daughter's partner is Italian. They want to travel when the pandemic is over and stay for a few months with her family. They are now restricted due to the 90 day rule imposed on them by Brexit.

If you enjoy queuing, you must love MCO immigration at its busiest then - not my idea of a great start to a holiday, each to their own I guess...

We'll have to see - not a lot of travelling has gone on since leaving. We don't as a nation tend to be very good at organising anything to do with queues - just compare our theme parks to those in Florida. But hey, maybe that's the secret to the blue passport - it's magical and whisks you through in a jiffy.

seriously this has to be an attention post. its well documented you will receive a blue one. please don't act like you were unaware.
It's not rocket science to know why many are welcoming the UK blue passport - then again it certainly isn't rocket science why some don't want to understand people's concept either, but that's ok. What isn't ok; unwarranted sarcastic comments... leave those wanting to discuss the UK passport alone.

We are all different and it affects everyone differently. Obviously your daughters circumstances are hit harder. I have a friend that has been dating someone from New York for 3 years and they have similar restrictions.
