Stuffing your pet?
I'm just watching TV and a lady who loved her horse had it stuffed when he died (taxidermy).

I don't criticise the lady because if she gets comfort from having her horse stuffed then good luck to her, but I miss my doggies who have passed over the years and feel sad enough looking at pictures of them, let alone having them stuffed.

Would you get your animal/pet stuffed?

No I find it creepy (same as when there is a casket of ashes on display) - both give me the heebie jeebies.

I find making your love ones ashes into jewellery creepy, I know lots do it but it’s not for me!

my youngest keeps asking me if we can get our 17 year old dog stuffed when he dies- don't think he is being serious but who knows ! I couldn't ever do that.

MH GMN is already stuffed so that saves them a job

I feel the same - when you are gone you are gone. I think I would freak out shaking hands with someone wearing ashes

I used to say that as a child about my cat but pleased now my parents humoured me but buried him. I much prefer the photos and my memories to seeing him stuffed on my mantelpiece
