In all my travels I have never flown with BA so I have question please.
Because my wife is nervous flyer I always book seats in advance. If booking Premium Economy on BA can you book your seats when making the initial booking or do you have to wait for check in. I should add I normally book several months in advance. Thanks |

All seats on BA are paid for unless you have Silver status or above. You can book from 355 days from your return flight and book seats immediately on Manage my booking.
If you ask for a refund voucher the flight will be processed first and you have to apply separately for you seat refund. Hope that helps. |

You can do a dummy booking by choosing flights, adding names (made up ones if you prefer) and at that stage it will give a tab to choose seats - that then brings up a map of available seats and how much each would cost. They start from £40 pp up to £65pp each way. Then you can just come out of the website - no payments are needed.

I managed to book my seats (economy) for free this week for our November flight. Was that a glitch?

Do you have an infant (under 2) on your booking? If so you can pick seats for free
Other than that, it’s free for silver tier members and if you book a flex plus ticket britishairways/en-gb...ving-your-seat |
