First time cruise with 4 year old
Hi all never been on a cruise before so got a lot a questions but main one I have to consider is concerning our 4 year old. I know for a fact my wife will not leave her in a kids club even though she would like a lot of the activities particularly disney junior things. My questions are can you stay with your child while they do some of these things or if not what are some things you can do as a family on board that my 4 year old girl will enjoy. And also considering the cost is it still worth it if we are not going to use the kids clubs

Yes sometimes the club has 'open house' where you can go and view the area and play a little -there aren't any activities as far as I understand. When we went on the transatlantic there weren't.
There are still the shows, cinema, character events etc. If you google 'disney cruise line navigator' you will see some of the schedules. You can't stay in the kids club when it isn't open house whilst other children are there without parents.

If its Disney cruises specifically they do "family time" activities where anyone can attend as well as the "open house" mentioned above. The family time activities anyone can attend and as the name suggests families can attend to so this will be a great option for you. As a solo traveller and Disney nut I sometimes go just because its something fun to do like making cookies for example or flubber. If you look at disneycruiselineblog/personal-navigators/ and see some of the previous navigators you should be able to see the type of things they offer. Anything in blue with "OH" on them is a family time activity
