We saw nothing in 2006 on our first trip.
2007 - cockroach in the kitchen and one crawling up my leg in the parks and a third in a place we were eating in (I couldn't finish my food)
2008 - nothing again
2009 - 2 cockroaches in the villa, a spider by the front door

Lots of geckos which I love and one snake (but we have corn snakes at home so not a big deal for me)

The first time we went end of May/beginning of June and there were hundreds of the love bugs about - very irritating! On our second trip we went exactly the same two weeks and didn't see a single love bug! We're going July/August this time so hope we'll miss them again ... we'll just have a billion other people to contend with

Not seen any other bug or spider or anything ... I hate spiders so would run a mile if I saw one like the picture posted in here!

Hi
They're not really bugs, but on our last trip in November we saw lots of wild turkeys, and deer and baby deer! around fort wilderness was lovely, and we saw turtle at the fishing hole at port orleans, which was really cool!

I cant believe snakes can be swimming next to you at the water parks or can be found in the villa pool - eeek! That must be a pretty surreal experience, and of course - totally terrifying! Now I will make sure I check the pool every time I want to take a dip

Fantastic tip! Thanks
