My daughter is 9 and half, they did let her take part no problem. She’s a huge SW fan and didn’t want to miss it. She did find the pack quite heavy though, but just about managed.

Does anyone know if this will be continuing? I think dd and dh would enjoy it and dfil might like it too.

So the waiver you sign has DOB on it - so you need to accidentally input the wrong one. Not sure how you feel about that - I tend to have fat thumbs on these occasions sometimes...

In front of us in the queue was a family with a small child - I'd guess around 8/9/10. They asked, and were allowed to try on the equipment before paying to make sure they could manage it. That might be a good idea depending on how "sturdy" your 8 year old is !

Don't know how long it's continuing for, but just seen they now have dates available up to and including 12th November.

I can second this recommendation ..! ...we thought it was fantastic, you get totally immersed in the character you are
My little lad was 9 and coped no problem with the pack on... if you get a chance do it...we will be doing it again if its still there next year / 2020
