Mobile Previous free dining dates

Looking to book a week at Pop for October half term 2021 just wondered if this time of year has ever been offered with free dining. If not I may as well book now to avoid the rush if/when free dining is released but if it’s been included previously I’ll hold off.

It has but last year the cut off date was beginning of October. I think every other year it has been offered for arrivals up to December 1st but they changed it for 2020.

It's the 50th Anniversary in Oct 2021 so you may not get free dining because of that.. We've booked 20th Sept - 4th Oct at CBR in the vain hope that the dining offer comes out but resigned to the fact that we will pay for the DDP as well.

Thanks everyone.
Dad Vader, I think you’re probably right about Disney not offering it when the celebrations are on.
If I were to book now direct with WDTC and just book for myself adding the other two travellers on at a later date would I be able to get the free dining added as well?

Hi Rachel

Honestly I don't know. We booked for two rooms (2 Adults, 2 Teenagers) per room, we've taken a punt on the dates as we wanted to pick up the 50th anniversary gifts but not be at the parks when it's mobbed/mega busy, hence the 20th Sept start date.

I asked when we booked if free dining was to come out between paying the deposit and the holiday dates (if the offer applies to our dates) could we phone up and get the offer ? Disney said Yes that we can rebook with the offer but i think we have to pay an amendment fee (£200) to adjust the booking but the saving would outweigh the fee. I don't know about adding two additional travellers later ?

No WDTC will not let you add free dining on later, you need to wait until the free dining offer is on and see if it is available for your dates.

Part of me is thinking it won’t be offered for my dates anyway so I might as well book now - decisions, decisions!

Hi Claudette,

Maybe I've got crossed wires but that's not what I was advised by the CM when I booked to stay at CBR and I've taken DDP, I'll need to check this with WDTC.. They said if the offer came out after we booked and was valid during our stay, we can phone and amend the booking ? Thanks for your comment.
