Logan’s Roadhouse no more?

Hi all,

I’ve just been researching restaurants for our (fingers crossed!) Christmas trip, and Logan’s is always top of our list.

Well I was just googling to see what their current menu looked like and came across a couple of articles which make it sound as though Logan’s won’t survive after the Corona crisis.

Sad times 😢 will miss that very much as well as Sweet Tomatoes.

Noooo… We love this as much as ST. Never in over 10 years had a bad meal and we eat there a couple of times a year

I agree - whilst it’s not fine dining, it’s consistently been one of our favourites for years, we will be sad if it’s totally gone, which sounds very likely sadly 😢

Filed for bankruptcy early March I think so I guess Covid was the final nail.

Let's hope that Longhorn and Texas at Rolling Oaks can survive. One of our favourite smaller chains, Ovation, has reopened on the 27

Been a supporter of Longhorn on here since we joined the DIBB 16 years ago. We first discovered them in Longboat Key back in 2003 and never had a bad meal. Would have had a couple of Flo's filets over the past few weeks. Not long until November though.

Have to admit though that Texas is coming up on the rails but can be a bit noisy with the servers yee-hawing. Had a few decent steaks in Manny's as well.

I hope they do survive. Logans is our favourite steakhouse and has been since Daryll's closed down about 15 years ago.
Always good quality and excellent value.

Sadly the one at Rolling Oaks only lasted a year or so - it's now a Hooters.
