Wish I"d noticed this in time as we would have done it in April but it's fully booked now. Will keep trying while we're there in case of any cancellations though. Thanks for the info Caron - sounds great and I'm sure Josh will love it - no Princesses though! Maybe if it runs in October we'll go then.
Pam.

can anyone tell me how many people there are on each boat?
This would be great for my goddaughter, it will be her birthday on our first full day this year. We were thinking of doing an illuminations or wishes cruise so this may be a good alternative. TIA David

I don't really know but I think it's more than you would have on the the normal Wishes or Illuminations Cruises. The Pirates Voyage used to be only bookable by Grand Gatherings until they opened it up to anyone last year I think.

As usual Im late to the party, our first time to Florida and we have only just realised you need to book everything in advance
Do you think Ive any chance of getting a booking for 4th August (our last night)? Gonna ring today, are they open on a weekend for bookings? Also any feedback on the experience from the OP? |

Thank you for posting on this thread to remind me to post back. I hadn't forgotten but have had a lot on my mind since we got back
I don't know if there will be any chance of getting booking at this late stage but all you can do is try. I think they will be open at the weekend. As for our Voyage it was a mixture of excellent and very poor in our experience but that was only because DS2 and DH had a very poor view at the back of the boat in the wheelchair section. The Voyage itself is excellent and very good fun, we saw the Electric Parade, there were quizzes with small prizes, meet'n'greet with Captain Hook, Mr Smee and Peter Pan. The small snacks and drinks were good before we set off. The boats have rows of bench seats which hold about 3 people each side of the boat. You are given your seat row when you check in. The only downside I could see to this Voyage was the wheelchair visibility and missing out on the walk down to the boats which looked like fun. The wheelchair and one parent with any buggies had to go down in the elevators first and missed out on this. HTH, I'll post some pictures of the boat when we get to that part of our trippie. Caron

Hi Caron,
We are booked to go on this on Sunday 12th September, so hopefully should be fun. We are all adults but kids at heart, so if anyone is around that time and see 5 mad big kids going on the boats it will be us! |

You will have a fantastic time especially if you get to be on Pirate Pete's boat, he's fantastic.
If he asks the Trivia question; what year did the first Water Electric Pageant take place? it's 1971 the year MK opened. I wasn't brave enough to answer but wish I had Caron
