Would like to watch this too but would also prefer an earlier time

you will get a better view (obv) from cocoa beach but you will still see it if you are back in the Disney area
last time we went we planned our day at KSC around a launch that was then delayed a day, still saw the rocket go up from magic Kingdom the next day, not a close but still impressive

Night launches are definitely the best! We have seen a couple from Canaveral beach just up from Cocoa.

No one knows yet. 12:00am is the default time, until the actual time is released. It's very unusual there's actually a launch exactly at midnight, or any hour on the nose. They're always like 5:03 or 12:34 or some such. They're all a bit up in the air at the moment since the last one exploded.

Expect last-minute postponement. A couple of years ago (maybe more), we went on the planned night - cancelled. Returned the second night - cancelled. The third time we decided not to bother - launch success. I was a bit annoyed!
I hope there is a launch mid-August, I'll make sure I see it this time! |

There's still a countdown going on spacecoastlaunches? Do SpaceX control all of the launches?

Thanks for all the info. We will be there on September 1st so fingers crossed they will send that one up. Have never seen a launch in the 20 years we have been travelling to Florida.
