My DS has finished his BTEC and just has his A level music on 14 June. Good luck to everyone’s DC and hope it is not too stressful time.

In the French bac the kids have to take two options- the rest of the subjects are compulsory. The oral is on one of the two options. They have to prepare a 5 minute presentation for each. On the day they randomly select which one they will do. They will then have to do the presentation and then answer questions on it. Quite daunting.

My daughters first exam isn't until 7th June- her last is 24th June. Shes been working so hard with her revision and doing lots of past papers. Wishing everyone best of luck with their exams!

We are a third through the 9 exams (French, German, Psychology) for my DS1. Added to exam stress, me plus DH and DS2 have come down with Covid - two weeks on still testing positive! DS1 have mandated we all wear masks in the house and lots of ventilation. Fingers crossed - he has not caught it.

Tonight is his 6th form leavers ball though ….. don’t understand why they have scheduled it middle of exams.

We have ‘Prom’ this evening too after a celebration lunch. We are 2 exams down 1 in Further Maths (didn’t go well and was very hard) and 1 in History. The rest are after half term ending on 23/6. It’s a long time before the results are in.
