Annual Pass Events

Afternoon all,

We are going to DLP in May and have decided to purchase the Magic Plus annual pass as we are going for 4 days.

My question is, what do the annual pass events entail and are they worth going to?

I would be grateful to hear from anybody who has this pass.

I've never been to one but have seen lots of reports from people who have on twitter. The events normally have a theme and will include rare characters, shows etc..

From what I've seen they've been very poorly managed in previous years with massive queues to get in but the last one was reportedly much better.

They're not always announced that far in advance and I've heard that emails aren't always sent to AP holders to notify them, so you'd have to just keep an eye on social media.
