Solo female using Uber or Lyft in Orlando

I hire a car, I’d be too nervous to use any type of taxi/cab there.

I use black cabs in London and local authority licensed cabs in my home town. I suppose I feel safer knowing how they are regulated.

I've never had an issue using uber on my own.

I have not used Uber in Orlando but have in bigger cities in the US. I feel very comfortable using it.

I once, and only once, used a taxi in Orlando (I forgot the time change and missed DME), the driver stole my debit card number (it was the only time I used the card in Orlando). I think there are risks to most things and think to feel safe, you need to be safety conscious.

I have had both male and female drivers (more female in New Hampshire) and the cab driver who took my card number was female.

I'm a solo female and have no issues with uber. I can't drive so that's not an option for me.
