Mobile Alamo tolls

Has anyone else had issues with Alamo charging tolls two months later? We travelled in August and even now my November credit card statement is showing toll payments for the end of October. This seems very odd to me and I have no way of knowing if they are correct. Does the fact the transaction number has NY at the end suggest we are being charged for toll payments there?

Of course you CAN get details of the toll charges - just go to the relevant web sites, or phone them:
alamo/en_US/car-rent...l-options.html
htallc/en/TollPass?agency=alamo

The toll roads are run by various Authorities who submit their bills to the rental companies at different times. If their billing date happens to be within your rental period, then there will be two bills. The process is not instantaneous (as it would be if you had a transponder) as they took a photo of your number plate at each toll plaza which has to be read and traced to the rental company, then to you. Conduent, the contractor used by the Florida Turnpike Enterprise (one of the toll road operators), is being sacked because of their poor performance, so delays if they are involved would not be surprising.

Hi
Its normal that the toll road fee’s come out in two or three transactions between 1 and 3 months after you return your vehicle. The reason being is there are various tolling authorities within Florida with different billing cycles and then your rental may have fallen between two billing cycles with Alamo.

You will still only be charged the admin fee the once per day which is capped at $19.75 for the duration of your rental.

You can view a copy of your toll receipts at htallc/en/TollPass?agency=alamo. You’ll need to enter your Rental Agreement number which can be found at alamo/en_US/car-rental/receipts.html.

Huge thanks. I have checked online and they do seem legitimate. There's still more being charged in the last week. Can't believe how long it takes for them to come though.

I've been charged tolls in sept, then more of them last week for a rental that ended late August

All tolls legit

It just takes more time than it used to

If you rent via Alamo, is the $3.95 fee per usage day plus toll charged for each day of the rental eg 7 days, or are you only charged for the days you use the tolls?
Thanks

Andy

I read on here about a month ago after I'd posted this link regularly that the Avis admin fee and cap had increased by about 50% but the site hasn't been updated yet. Was I dreaming?
