No suggestions for you but you might like this story!
My husband and I bought our first dog Oscar (British bulldog) we did not have any children at the time but I had bought and wrapped gifts for my family, husbands family, close friends and Oscar. We placed them under our tree the day before Christmas Eve ready to deliver on Christmas Eve. We got up Christmas Eve to a living room full of ripped up and chewed wrapping paper & gifts! Stuff was everywhere ! One gift for my friend contained a sparkly body powder with puff, there was glittery powder everywhere and no puff to be found. I think we salvaged two gifts but our main concern was that he had eaten loads of stuff including chocolates etc so we rushed him to the vets. He was fine but we never put gifts under the tree again while Oscar was alive lol Tilly, our current dog shows no interest in presents, in fact she hates wrapping paper and vanishes every Christmas morning to our bed 💕 |

Floridatilly that’s a lovely story and so glad your doggy wasn’t hurt, I left my shopping bag in the back room and my dog knocked it over to get her toy out. She’s was so excited I couldn’t take it from her, she loves gets involved on Christmas Day. She has been known to try to get a present earlier but we’ve always manage to retrieve it x

We take our dog camping and she loves it, when we were putting the tent up to clean after a camping trip she was in there before we even had it fully up. So I have bought her a childrens tent with a tunnel you can attach. Cant wait to see her face - more excited about her getting it than I am about my human family members

Our dog loves unwrapping his presents too. In fact he loves seeing us put the Xmas tree up and sits under it waiting for his present. When we put his presents underneath, he gets even more excited and sniffs then and tries to open them.
He also stole a soft squeaky giraffe from my bag that I bought one year before I could wrap it. 😀 |

Our dogs have stockings everything in it wrapped in ricepaper so if the eat the paper not a big deal
The Visla gets a new big foot ball a sturdy one every year as his pressie only toy he plays with pigs ears chews big milk bones and a new half chocke collar( and before any body says that's cruel he won't wear any other collar scratches his neck something awful so out and about he needs a collar ) The Frenchie gets a new dog safe soft toy she loves a soft toy A ball and a frisbee The staffie a huge rubber stick thing she loves to retrieve a stick so it's safer a rag pull thing that she shares with the other 2 and the same treats as the other 2 don't think any of them were that impressed with the doggy deodorant I bought themeach last year in Walmart but it did help the wet dog smell they don't mind a new tooth brush or shampoo Yes I'm nuts |

I feel so mean after reading all these gifts lol
My Tilly can’t eat treats with her delicate tummy. She hates anything wrapped or the whole Christmas morning lol. She hates clothes/jumpers, my friend bought her & her brother matching Disney jackets. They wore them once and Tilly was not impressed, didn’t run around etc. She hates dog toys, not sure if it’s because she has a little mouth, she does not play fetch or anything... she does not bark... I do wonder if she is actually a dog lol She regularly gets a new collar because we go through the woods a lot and she likes to get messy so it gets beyond dirty. This is Tilly when she is happy (dirty mess lol) |
