Wrapping and Labels

So I thought I had finished with the wrapping I suddenly realised that I needed to buy my secret santa gifts so popped out yesterday and bought a couple of items in T K Maxx. OMG the labels were so stuck on it took me half an hour to remove from each item! (The struggle is real! ) Worse still they were on the front of the gifts, which left marks on there after the price labels were eventually removed

Why do T K Maxx put labels on the front of products? They don't do it with all of them just some of them! Its the same with cards from some places too! Why oh why do companies do this? Is it to add to the stress of gift giving?

I know first world problems and all that but it is so annoying to damage packaging when you want things to look nice.

Does this wind anyone else up or is it just me?

Jane

I totally agree. I bought my son some CK boxers from sports direct and there were stickers all over them. I know I paid less than usual for them (4 pairs for £38) but it’s still expensive underwear. The boxes look a right mess because o could not get them all off 😡

Unless it’s chocolates, get a hairdryer, and work from the corner of the label, and it will slowly come away as the glue melts.

Everyone at one point started to use easy-peel labels and then stopped for some reason.

I got marzipan chocolates from TK max and the label stuck so I pulled it off and got rid of the glue with a wet wipe!

The stickers at TK Maxx have to be difficult to get off smoothly or people would swoop them.
