Avis MIA next day pick up
Hi folks, we are flying into MIA 11th Oct with BA. Car hire was booked with flight for 18:30 pick up. We have opted to stay over at an airport hotel then scoot up to Orlando next morning. As we will be picking up the car at say 10am on the 12th do I need to inform Avis of this or do we wing it? We have Avis Prefered sorted. Thanks in advance!

Yes you will have to tell them, if you dont turn up on the 11th your booking with them will be cancelled . Call them and see what they satay, hopefully they will sort it for you but there may be an admin charge for changing things, plus you booked through BA so they may tell you to sort it thru them though I think that is less likely to happen

Yes that's about what I thought but hoped it would not be the case!
Thank you! |

Worth contacting BA to amend the car booking for collection the following morning.
