Em, as much as it pains me to say this, Gadgey Mick is bang on the nail... damn Gadgey that hurt!

Forget the 'free' car Em, that is a non starter, I recommend you have a chat (as have others) with Andy at DFCH (click HERE). He really is a helpful chap and rents, free of charge, sat nav, you only pay for sat nav postage to/from your home.

Em, there are some very helpful Dibbers, tap into that knowledge time and again, they don't mind and it's their pleasure to help you achieve a holiday with tips for the best rates

Bonny lass

If Emmanib wasn't confused enough with car hire she will be now. Has it stopped snowing in Co Durham yet?

We use Hertz or Alamo (would use Avis if price was right). This year we booked Alamo through Discount Florida Car Hire as that was the best price.

Aye, finally stopped snowing and our summer was lovely Gadgey, had it Sunday and Monday of this week, well worth waiting for. Today we've some other gadgey called Hector wreaking havoc with very strong winds. Knacked my Buddleia and all other shrubs/flowers in the garden - luckily hubs brought the hanging basket in last night.

We're vicariously in Bokeelia, via the Bokeelia Pier live cam. They're getting some stonking storms at night, temps over half of ours again.

Haha, I am going to contact Andy today and get all the info, thanks so much guys for all your help! I was just baffled that they would advertise it as included and then charge an extra quarter of what we paid for the holiday on top, my fault for not reading the small print but it really was misleading so fingers crossed Andy can help!

Hi. What are your dates please and what size car are you looking at?
I know 2 companies you can get prices from (and book) this far out so it's worth getting a figure in your head in my view even if you dont book yet.
