I read Gone Girl first but saw the movie a couple of years ago so knew the end. Still nice to read the book for more detail though.
Finished Sharp Objects pretty quickly. Am now on Dark Places but have a train ride to Nottingham when I visit for my friends 40th next month so am saving it for that.

I thought Amma did come across as ‘cold’ but just did not think she’s strong enough to do it to be honest!
I still can’t believe how spineless Alan was 😳
All in all very good series, I really enjoyed it and the acting was absolutely phenomenal in my opinion.

We've just finished watching this too. Thought we'd figured it all out until we saw the scenes in the end credits. Glad I read about them on here otherwise I'd have turned it off and missed them.
