Delta Lounge at MCO - prebook?
Hi, after managing to upgrade our return flight to Upper we now have access to the Delta Lounge at MCO.
I think I’ve read on a thread here somewhere that it gets busy and you have to prebook. Is this the case, if so how and when do I do this please. I know people have commented that it’s not up to much and have taken food vouchers instead but we don’t tend to eat much before flying and would rather just have somewhere away from the crowds to chill. Thanks everyone for answering my questions up to now, I keep trying to search different things as I think of them as I feel like we’ll stand out like a fish out of water amongst all the seasoned travellers used to Upper. (I’m now even worried what to wear).

With an upper class flight you are guaranteed entry anyway, it's people going in on status or "lounge club" memberships that need to pre-book.
Don't discount the "food" voucher though just because you don't want to eat, you definitely also used to be able to use them in the duty free shop as well for free perfume... |

We find the lounge ok and it’s only been really busy once. You get given the pass at check in (we do check in at Downtown Disney) and then can go straight into the lounge once you have cleared security at the airport. There aren’t huge food options - soup, some salad, cookies and nibbles usually. But the drinks selection is good. As we get the meal on the plane the snacks suit us fine. 👍

This is us as well.
Maybe 5 years ago or so it was pretty shabby and poor furniture. But it was renovated and is fine. It's not the same as the Virgin Lounge at LGW but it does what it says on the tin. We like it. A bowl of soup, a little bit of pasta and a cookie is great for a late lunch.

Thank you all for your replies, glad I don’t have to worry about prebooking. Thanks also floridavisitor re: info on voucher use in duty free.
