3 weeks in Disney from late July to early August

Hi, we are just working out our agenda. We have 3 boys aged 11 and twins that are 10 who are autistic.

We are trying to work out how much time we spend in each park. We wont be doing the really big rides and will be going to just the Disney parks and one day to Kennedy.

We are staying in Windsor Hills so very near Animal Kingdom.

My question is how should we split up our time in between all the parks?

We do three weeks so we can just do a few hours in the park and back to villa to chill. We did either mornings (never made rope drop ever) or late afternoon and evening.

For Disney parks, we always plan on 3 days MK, 2 days Epcot, 1 day Hollywood Studios, 1 day per water park and 1 day AK. We usually do full days though.

I'm always torn with this because rope drop is much emptier but I find it just as hot in the mornings and think the evenings are cooler!

The way we plan is 1x full day in each park, followed by 1x half morning in each park followed by an evening or two in MK and Epcot. We like to do the evenings on the same day we did the mornings to save on parking costs.

I know you mention wont be doing the big rides, but would your the 11 yr old would love Big Thunder Mountain, Everest or even Rock and Roll / TOT ?

On the parking do you pay once and can park anywhere in Disney. Also how do you pay?

Hi my son is autistic so we usually go in late May to avoid the heat and severe storms. We generally arrive first thing and see how the day goes. Once we arrive we register at guest services for the virtual queuing system. This is a huge help as our son doesn’t like the pushing/shoving in the queues. Once done we use the app to check the waiting times and will queue upto 15 minutes as he can’t take much more. We visit a lot of eateries for resting and cooling down.

Another asd mum hear ,we're going the same time as you ,we've planned early mornings ,then see how our son goes ,but have also planned waterpark days also with a lie in those days ,shopping trips in the evening when its cooler and lots of drink /icecream stops ... be prepared to call it a day in the parks at times if things get to much for them and try again another day ... xxx
